in my drawings my intuition and feeling comes out most freely. from the beginning i've been drawn to drawing, it's like my hands move across the paper of their own accord. but also the poetic world, the finetuned sensitivity, maybe the apparent small size touches me in a different way than sculptures or paintings do. a sculpture is, and for me need not have stronger radiance. a painting i usually find to radiate throughout the entire space in which it hangs, changing its atmosphere in a clearly detectable way. a drawing to me is often like a window to a small world, into which the observer is invited. where a painting often works better at some distance, a drawing invites to take a step closer and look very subtly.
